Kindergarten for students located in the Stephenville Independent School District is available at Central Elementary. Children who are 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the given school year are eligible for kindergarten. Parents of students that attended Central Elementary Pre-Kindergarten last school year will also need to complete the online Kindergarten Registration information. However, it is not necessary to provide duplicate copies of social security card, birth certificate, and shot records.
Prekindergarten for students located in the Stephenville Independent School District is available at Central Elementary. Children who are 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the given school year and who qualify as one of the following may be eligible:
1) is unable to speak and comprehend the English language; or
2) is considered educationally disadvantaged as determined by eligibility for the National Free and Reduced lunch programs; Eligibility of income will be verified at time of registration

3) is considered homeless as defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 11302; or
4) is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States; or
5) is the child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while on active duty; or
6) is or ever has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing
If qualifying for pre-k additional documentation may be requested.
Students will NOT be placed in classes until all registration is complete and all paperwork has been turned in.
Teacher requests are no longer accepted.
Students enrolled in a program at Central Elementary must comply with Texas state attendance laws.
